Gnash and Spookz

As a game designer for Gnash and Spookz, I wanted to tell a story to the player. Each level has a unique objective and challenge to keep the player engaged and immersed. I wanted to keep level transitions seamless by creating a HUB world where the player can be introduced to each level throughout the game.

SCRAPS

I worked as a level designer for Garnet making the project SCRAPS. The level I made was based in an abandoned sewage refinery. In this level, I gave the player a main objective and some secondary objectives. The player will find themselves in challenging situations to solve puzzles and avoid the dangerous toxic waste throughout the level. I wanted to player to have fun but still give them a challenge followed by a reward.

Hayden

Hayden was the first project that I had developed by myself. Hayden is a horror/thriller game that tell a story through each note that is found throughout the game. I had a vision to create a horror that keeps the player alert at all times and still give the player a purpose to uncover the story. I created an enemy AI that tracks the player movements and interacts with the player. I used post processors to amply the scene's visuals. I programmed the entire game and model some of the art.

Flame Runner

I was the project lead and programmer for Flame Runner. Flame Runner is a 2D Side Scroller Platformer. The player plays as a sentient flame that is trying to survive the hazardous environment that consist of water type elements. I wanted the game to be fun and challenging. To do this I added platforms, rain, geysers and other water elements that can harm the player. The design process was simple but yet fun.
